Life Out of Frames isn't a filter, and it isn't a factory.
We believe a photograph is the beginning of a story, not the end of one. Every LOOF piece starts with a conversation — who's in the photo, what they meant to you, and what you hope to feel when you see them again.
From there, our team brings each image back to life by hand: careful restoration and colorization, and — on Cherished Memories, Family Story, and Legacy — gentle, natural motion. No two photos get the same treatment, because no two people were the same.
This is slow, human work made possible by new technology — never the other way around.
From wedding albums and military portraits passed down through generations to the memorial photo a family needs for a funeral or celebration of life, we treat every family's ancestry and heritage photos with the same care and attention to historical accuracy.

Questions families ask
Every package is delivered within one week of receiving your photos and payment.
Any condition — clear, faded, damaged, or a digital scan. We restore old photos and repair damaged photos with tears, scratches, fading or water damage. Let us know the condition when you submit, and we'll walk you through what's possible before you commit to a package.
Voice is not included in the package price. If you already have a short recording you have the right to share, ask us when you submit and we will tell you whether it can be added.
You pay on this site when you submit — PayPal or Zelle. Order and pay right here. We reply within 24 hours. 1 Revision is included if the result does not feel true. By uploading, you give permission and consent to show the faces.
We deliver within one week of receiving your photos and payment. If it doesn't feel right, ask for a refund within one week of delivery and we'll refund you in full. The details are in our Terms of Service.
