We restore, colorize and gently animate old family photos by hand. The movement is small and human, a blink, a soft smile, a breath, so the person looks like themselves, not like a special effect.
What photo animation looks like
Good animation is quiet. We add natural, subtle motion: eyes that blink, a smile that softens, the slight movement of someone breathing. We never create cartoonish or exaggerated motion. The goal is recognition and warmth, not spectacle.
Every animation is checked by a real person before delivery, and we don't invent details that weren't in the original photo.
Restored and colorized first
Every animated photo is first restored and colorized with period-accurate tones. That means the damage is gone and the color is right before anything moves.
Which photos work best
Photos where faces are visible and reasonably clear give the most natural results. Group photos, older prints and damaged photos can work too. Tell us about the photo when you submit, and we'll be honest about what to expect.
- Phone photos of prints are fine. Lay the print flat, in bright, even light, with no glare, and shoot straight on so the photo fills the frame.
- If you have a scanner, use it. A higher scan resolution gives us more detail to work with, especially for small prints.
- Take the print out of a glass frame or plastic sleeve first if you can do it safely; reflections hide detail.
- Upload JPG, PNG, HEIC or TIFF files, up to 15 MB each. Your original print never has to leave your home.
Voice
Voice is not included in any package. If you already have a short recording you have the right to share, ask us when you submit and we will tell you whether it can be added.

Price, delivery and refunds
- Cherished Memories, $49: one photo restored, colorized and animated.
- Family Story, $199: 6 photos restored, colorized and animated.
- Legacy, $499: 10 photos restored, colorized and animated, with premium animation and lifelike depth.
Optional add-ons are priced per photo: Background Change (+$49), Clothing Adjustment (+$39), Remove Person or Object (+$49) and Add Family Member (+$99). A Memorial Composite ($129–$149) is quoted after consultation.
We deliver within one week of receiving your photos and payment. 1 revision is included if the result does not feel true, and if it still doesn't feel right, ask for a refund within one week of delivery and we'll refund you in full. Will it look realistic or strange?
We keep the motion small and natural, and a person reviews every face before delivery. If the result does not feel true, 1 revision is included.
Can you animate a group photo?
Often, yes. Tell us who is in the photo and who matters most to you, and we'll tell you what to expect before we start.
Can you add their voice?
Voice is not included in any package. If you already have a short recording you have the right to share, ask us when you submit.
Can I share it with family?
Yes. The finished piece is yours to save, share with family and pass down.
