Who we are

LOOF – Life Out of Frames ("LOOF", "we", "us") restores, colorizes and animates photographs online for customers worldwide. You can reach us at loof@eevolver.com.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number (only if you choose to give it), who is in the photo, roughly when it was taken, the story you share with us, whether you have a voice recording to share, the package and add-ons you choose, and the photographs and any voice recording you upload through the order form.
When you pay: payments are made through PayPal or Zelle only. We never see or store your card or bank details. We receive the payment confirmation those services send us, such as the payer's name, email address, the amount and your order reference.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How we use it

To restore, colorize and animate your photos and deliver the finished work to you.
To contact you about your order, match your payment to your order, and handle revisions and refund requests.
To keep basic records of the orders we have received and completed.

We do not sell your photographs or your personal information.

Where your photos are stored

Photos and voice recordings you upload through the order form are stored so we can work on them. They are saved on our web hosting server (DreamHost) and copied to our Google Drive for processing. Your order details are kept in our order records (a private Google Sheet), and we email you updates about your order. Your finished files are shared with you through a private Google Drive link that only people who have the link can open.

How long we keep it

We keep your photos and order details for as long as we need them to complete your order, handle any revision or refund request, and keep basic records. You can ask us to delete your photos at any time by emailing loof@eevolver.com with your order reference.

Showing faces and examples of our work

By uploading a photo, you give us permission and consent to show the faces in it, for example as an example of our work on this website or our social media accounts. If you don't want your photos shown, say so in your story or email loof@eevolver.com, and we will not use them as examples.

Who else processes your information

PayPal and Zelle process your payment under their own privacy policies.
DreamHost hosts this website and the photos you upload.
Google stores copies of uploaded photos and recordings, your order record and your finished files in Google Drive and Google Sheets, and serves the fonts on this site (your browser requests them from Google's servers).
YouTube hosts our example videos. The video player only loads, from youtube-nocookie.com, when you press play.

We don't share your information with anyone else for marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information and photos we hold about you, or to stop using your photos as examples. Email loof@eevolver.com and include your order reference if you have one. Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honor requests made under those laws.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
